My oh my, I have quite a few blog posts to catch up on!

Funny how, and I’m sure my fellow photographers will agree, if you don’t blog for awhile people think you aren’t busy, or you aren’t working. The truth is, when I blog less, it’s because I’m TOO busy to get to it!!

A month ago (see, I said I had some blog posts to catch up on!), I photographed a family who came to me through The Tiny Light Foundation.

Kailyn is 2.5 years old, and just over a year ago she was diagnosed with a rare chromosome disorder called Isodecentric 15q.

The good news is that this coming August, Kailyn is going to be a big sister!! So it was a great time to get some family photos done before they become a family of 4!

After they received all their images, Kailyn’s mom Renee sent me this wonderful email:

Hi Jennifer,

We just got the disc today and we couldn’t be more thrilled. The photos are absolutely wonderful and I just can’t thank you enough!!

I’m so happy I could help out this wonderful family!

Today I was at the Glendon campus of York University in Toronto, doing engagement pictures for Carina and Jamie! Their two young (and ADORABLE!) daughters came along as well, along with Carina’s super-awesome and helpful mom! (Love meeting the family before the wedding day!)

I can’t wait to photograph Carina and Jamie’s wedding this July!

Two years ago, I photographed Chloe at her home in Toronto, when she was about 4 or 5 months old. Well the weekend before last (I know, I have a few blog posts to catch up on), I photographed Chloe’s baby sister Christie, who at the time was about 4.5 months old. (5 months old today!)

Not only is Christie SUPER cute, but she has to be one of the smiley-est babies I have ever photographed!

The sun was out in full force (my anti-rain dance ritual worked a bit too well I think) for Lindsay and Paulo’s engagement session in Newmarket this afternoon. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky! Which means lots of fun back-lit shots, and some lens flare – yay!

Lindsay and Paulo will be married this September, and I for one, can’t wait!

Nathanael has arrived!

Onika had her beautiful baby boy, and when he was 4 days old I went out to Alliston and got to photograph him!

He was such an exceptional baby! Slept well for me for the first little while, then was a very awake and alert little guy for a bit before falling back asleep.

I’m so happy for Onika, Justin and big brother Josiah! Congrats you guys, he is perfect!

I hope everyone is having a fabulous Easter weekend!

Now that Scott & Sandra have all their wedding images, I thought I would share the slideshow I created for them with their photos!

Onika is expecting her second baby boy next month, and I for one am very excited to meet the little guy! Onika actually lives in Alliston, but we did her photos in Elora (near Waterloo). I think they came out beautifully, but it doesn’t hurt to have a gorgeous model as well! 😉

(I’m trying a new photo-display style, so if those of you subscribed to my blog can’t see the pictures, you’ll have to see the post on the actual website!)
